BodyTite®

Minimally Invasive Body Contouring & Skin Tightening
What Is Bodytite?

BodyTite is a minimally invasive body contouring procedure delivering results previously only achieved through more excisional surgical procedures. Bodytite, powered by directional radiofrequency (RF), provides contraction of the dermis, subdermal connective tissue, and adipose tissue coagulation.

Key Benefits:

  • Controls heating to ensure that treatment results are consistent, avoiding over-treated or under-treated areas.
  • Real time temperature monitoring in deep fat areas and on the skin surface.
  • Directional RF builds a temperature profile providing different treatment modalities for each tissue layer, from the deep fat layer up to the skin’s surface.

    The treatment may assist with:

    • Localised fat reduction
    • Skin tightening
    • Improvement in the appearance of skin laxity
    • Body contour refinement

    What Can I Expect?

As BodyTite® is minimally invasive, treatment involves a small entry point and may involve local anaesthesia or other anaesthetic management depending on the treatment plan.

During the procedure, you may experience pressure, warmth or other sensations associated with the treatment.

After treatment, temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, redness or discomfort may occur. Recovery varies depending on the treatment area, extent of treatment and individual healing response.

Your practitioner will provide specific aftercare instructions and advise you when you can return to your usual activities.

    How Does BodyTite® Work?

    01 — Controlled RF Energy

Radiofrequency energy is delivered to the targeted tissue through the internal electrode.

    02 — Tissue Heating

Controlled heating is used to treat the underlying tissue and support tissue contraction.

    03 — Fat Treatment

The RFAL process can assist with the treatment of localised adipose tissue as part of body contouring.

    04 — Gradual Tissue Response
Following treatment, the body undergoes a healing and remodelling process. Changes in contour and skin firmness develop over time and vary between individuals.

    Q&A

What Areas That May Be Treated

Depending on individual suitability, BodyTite® may be used to address selected areas including:

    • Abdomen
    • Flanks
    • Arms
    • Thighs
    • Knees
    • Back
    • Chest
    • Other selected areas following clinical assessment
    Why Consider BodyTite®?

    MINIMALLY INVASIVE
BodyTite® is performed through a small entry point rather than the larger incisions associated with excisional surgery.

    RF-ASSISTED BODY CONTOURING
Controlled RF energy is used to treat targeted tissue and assist with contour refinement.

    SKIN TIGHTENING
RF energy can produce controlled tissue heating and contraction, which may improve the appearance of skin laxity.

    PERSONALISED TREATMENT
Treatment parameters and areas are selected according to your anatomy, skin characteristics and individual treatment goals.

    BodyTite® vs Surgical Body Contouring

BodyTite® is not a replacement for major surgical procedures such as a tummy tuck or surgical excision of excess skin.

It may be considered for appropriately selected patients with localised fat and mild to moderate skin laxity. Where there is significant excess skin or more extensive tissue laxity, surgical options may be more appropriate.

Your practitioner will discuss the available options during your consultation.
